Puppy Contract/Health Guarantee
1) The Buyer agrees to provide prompt medical attention and responsible care for this puppy. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up to date with inoculations and proper nutrition. The Seller advises that it is a good idea to keep the new puppy separate from other dogs in and out of the house until the veterinarian has given it a clean bill of health.
2) The Seller guarantees this puppy to be of sound health at the time of this sale. A health record of all shots and worming will be provided by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of his choice within 72 hours for a physical examination.
3) The Seller must be informed immediately of the examination’s result by e-mail or registered letter. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of the guarantee.
4) If the examination indicates that at the time of sale, such animal was unfit for purchase due to illness, disease, or congenital disorder, you may return the puppy for an exchange of equivalent value or a refund of the exact price of the puppy as stated on this contract. Under no condition will we refund the price of the puppy without the return of the puppy. If Buyer chooses to have the puppy replaced, Seller has one (1) year to replace the puppy. If a puppy of equivalent value is not available within that time frame, Seller will refund the price of the puppy.
5) The Seller guarantees the puppy against fatal viruses for 72 hours.
6) This puppy is guaranteed until one (1) year of age against fatal and life altering congenital and genetic diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal.
7) If the dog dies within this one (1) year time frame, Buyer will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason. If reason is genetic or congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy or refund exact puppy price as stated on this contract.
8) The Seller must be notified of the problem within two (2) business days of the licensed veterinarian’s determination. The Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value or a refund of the exact price of the puppy as stated on this contract. Buyer is responsible for the transportation cost of the replacement puppy. Seller has one (1) year to replace puppy. If a replacement of equivalent value is not available within this time frame a refund will be given.
9) It is understood at the time of sale that this is a pet quality dog. It is suited as a companion and/or obedience dog. Training classes are recommended for a happy
relationship between the dog and family. Buyer understands that adult sizes are an estimate only, based on Sellers experience. No guarantees are made. If placed as a breeding dog: Seller is not responsible for female or male's ability to breed or the quality of pups or litter size. It is the Buyer's sole responsibility for bills incurred from breeding your dog. Guarantee is null and void as soon as a breeding dog is mated. If any female is bred before her first birthday, she is not guaranteed for ANY genetic defect.
10) The Seller will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs.
11) The Seller is not responsible for temperament issues as they can be caused by a lack of training, discipline or improper dog socialization which is determined by every dog's personality.
12.) Seller does NOT cover intestinal parasites or umbilical hernias. These are NOT reasons for a puppy to be deemed unhealthy.
13.) Seller does NOT cover against fleas. Buyer is responsible to protect puppy/dog from fleas.
14.) If the buyer has the puppy "put to sleep" before contacting the seller, ALL guarantees are null and void.
Health Guarantee
Should your puppy be diagnosed with a Genetic debilitating defect that would prohibit the puppy from
leading a normal pet life within 12 months of birth. The buyer will have the option of ONE of the following:
1.)We will replace the puppy at no additional cost to the buyer when one becomes available, if the buyer wishes
to keep the puppy, and has the puppy spayed/neutered.
2.) We will refund the purchase price of the puppy, if the puppy is spayed/neutered.
3.) We will refund HALF the purchase price of the puppy, if the buyer doesn’t have the puppy spayed/neutered.
The OFA is the sole and only judge in determining hip dysplasia.
A CERF certified veterinarian must confirm any hereditary eye defects.
The buyer would be required to submit the x-rays to OFA. Once the buyer receives the report form OFA,
the buyer shall mall a copy of the report to the Seller.
The buyer will also include a letter stating which replacement option they are requesting.
This shall be done with 5 days of the buyer receiving the report from OFA.

This contract is valid only for original purchaser and puppy, it is not transferable.
